Midwife and Lactation Consultant
HIlary Fraser is our Registered Nurse, Endorsed Midwife and Lactation Consultant (IBCLC). You may recognise Hilary from her many years working alongside Dr Katie Taylor and Dr Paul Koch at St Andrew's Private Ipswich Hospital.
From a very early age, Hilary knew she wanted to be a Nurse and Midwife, with a passion for supporting and educating families through pregnancy, birth and beyond.
Hilary is registered with Medicare, which enables her to bulk bill Well Baby Clinic Consultations directly to Medicare for a baby's first 6 weeks from birth. All subsequent visits may be eligible for rebates with selected health funds.
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse and Midwifery, University of Queensland, 2015.
- Prescribing and Diagnostics, Griffith University 2019.
- International Board-Certified Lactation Consultant, 2022.
Hilary regularly attends conferences to ensure her knowledge and skills are evolving and up-to-date.
Personal
Hilary was born and raised in Ipswich and is a proud memeber of the Ipswich community. In Hilary's spare time, she loves renovating her old Queenslander homes, is an avid gaming fan, and a proud furpawrent to two Golder Retrievers 'Mortimer' and 'Gertrude'.
